Camera flash not right?

I just went to take a pic with my Razr Maxx of my cat snuggled up next to my dog. When the pic snapped, the flash went off, but the flash was "late" and didn't "sync" with the taking of the pic. I found some threads on the subject through the obligatory search, but no real solutions to the problem.

Does anyone know a way to fix this? Is there a setting I'm missing? I don't take alot of pics, but when I do and I need a flash, it would be nice if it worked. :blink:

Go into apps, clear cache, clear data, and force close the camera app. Then put it in portrait mode and snap the pic.
