I would prefer that you checked your phone for all of the damage options listed in the poll so I can accurately gauge the durability of the Thunderbolt.

Bodyguardz and phantom skinz are two different companies that make them. U can get them in black or white. I got mine in white, they're a but expensive but my girlfriend got it for me. You can get them on amazon or straight from their website.

I must say I always run "naked" with my phones -- and my Thunderbolt got nicked up, scratched, peeled, etc. way faster then any phone I've ever owned. It looks 2 years old yet I used it only for a couple months.

+1 I also normally carry phones naked with no screen protector after 2 days noticed light scratch on screen .. bought a zagg screenprotector and seidio convert case.. the phone screen is not as tough as Moto's thats for sure..

Don't have a car dock. But this literally adds no bulk to the phone at all...it's just a skin that u stick to the back of your phone. Google "white carbon fiber thunderbolt"and see pictures of it, I don't see how you would have any trouble mounting it anywhere.

Again idk how body guardz skin is, I didn't like my cover at first but now I like it a lot. Feels great too.

If I could go back though, I would probably get black carbon fiber instead.

I saw this thread and expected to see pictures!

No TB here but my D1 was replaced last November. It is naked as was the one before for all but the first month of its life. This one looks brand new, the other got a nic on the corner when I dropped it....on the day I was bringing it in for a replacement.

I think it depends what you do for a living and how you treat your phones. I've had flip phones in holsters that took a real bad beating. Scuffed up, dirt on them, etc. My smartphone has always gone in my front left pocket with absolutely nothing else in that pocket. That seems to have worked out for the phone.

I hate skins and cases.

Always keep my phone naked. That's what insurance is for.
