i dont, not after the crap he got from htc, i will totally support and purchase the widget no matter what

it looks good so far, if he can get the clock to actually flip smoothly then i'd pay a few more dollars

I also am totally bummed about the C&D, but I have read somewhere today on this or another Android forum that he did steal the animations and images directly from HTC's original app and had bragged about doing so on XDA.

I'm not saying it's true, but I know the weather animations are exactly ripped from HTC's software. I assume the clock was too, it's pixel perfect.

Which, I love! But.. uh, it makes the C&D make a little more sense.

Animated widgets are not possible using regular Home. Home++ however has support for animated widgets. Don't know about GDE, or any of the other home replacement apps.
