App to turn on my computer in the morning?

I know it's possible as I remember reading people that could somehow do it. Every morning I get on my computer and check the news and email before I leave. It'd be nice to have an app that could boot my comp while I'm in the shower and have it ready to go at a certain time.

If it helps anything I have a rooted 2.2 froyo. I also have the app Locale installed.

Even though that'd be sweet, that's not what I was saying. I just want my droid to boot my computer at a specific time in the morning. That way my computer is up and running so I can quickly access my email and news without waiting on it to boot.
