I've had great battery life and zero reboots with Alpha2. My only thing is that I have the sync icon in the notification bar constantly. I know with the oringinal leak if you did a factory reset then that cleared it up, but Fab's instructions state to always reflash the ROM after a factory reset or you'll be missing a settings file. Anyone else have this or figure out how to get rid of the sync icon?

i thought i read a tweet by Fab stating that this was actually an INTENDED tweak....comething about him not seeing a need to swipe after punching in the pin, so he got rid of the swipe.Alpha 2 is running great for me. I notice something most probably won't, It seems like a bug, but I actually prefer it.
If you enable a pin lock (I have to due to corporate email), you lose the motorola slide unlocker. Basically, every time you turn on the phone if you have a pin enable and the timeout has not been reached, you get no lock at all.
I like using widgetlocker, so it's not an issue, and actually a nice feature. Since moto lock is kinda weird, widgetlocker could never supress the slide lock anyway, and a workaround was to set it to auto slide for you. Which works, but is kind of clunky. Now I don't have that problem.
So I call this an unintended feature
Mine went away like normal. Is anything syncing in your accounts?
Pretty sure you can freeze contact sync with titanium backup.
Just reading the intratubes, looks like titanium back can cause this. Possibly restoring gmail through titanium. i think your contacts are backed up through gmail. I just export to sd and then import them.

LOL, yeah, that comment was to me when I asked him on twitter. I myself prefer to have the slider there so I can adjust volume or have music controls without having to unlock/enter pin.
I'm using widgetunlocker for now to accomplish this. It's actually kinda nice.

My app drawer isn't very responsive, especially towards the bottom

I would read and verify the bug isn't already reported and adding to that comment vs starting a new one, just to keep it organized somewhat.
Running great on my DX currently.. Just a few of the already known things.. I did notice the app download non-install issue, and the pics from the provided camera aren't exactly stellar compared to blur.
But she's smooth and stable so far.

Yeah go get some.. The D2 I think isn't as developed yet as he ran into a bluetooth coding issue, but the DX version is on "alpha 2". Just run back through his tweets to find his link and instructions. I commend him for not making it an a official release until the kinks are ironed out but.
