Upgrading from .591 Apex 2.0?

I am currently running GB RC .591 Apex 2.0Beta.

I have the baseband and kernel updates by previously upgrading to GB RC .595.

I am extremely satisfied with my phone right now. I have never been more satisfied with a mobile device.

I have noticed a lot of new traffic here with folks making the move to Apex 2.0Beta running on GB .596.

What are the PRO's of making this move? What are the cons?

What is my upgrade path? Since I have the updates from the .595 (I flashed Apex from .595) do I just flash over my current Apex ROM? Will the Marketplace replace my installed apps, or do I have to fuss with this all over again?

I am also wondering if there is a release date on RC2.0 which will include (I think Airmaxx's) battery icon?

This thread would seem to address several of your questions, certainly regarding the upgrade path and apps. Then again, I use Titanium Backup and just do a restore after doing a new Apex install.

I've read the thread, yet it does not address any benefits of upgrading to .596.

Can you address that?

Upgrading to .596?
no big difference when you do upgrade, its just that the .596 is the official release of Gingerbread, meaning that all kinks and fine tuning has been done and worked out. now with the final build out, all GB Rom's will require you to be on the latest build....
