Android 2.3 for Droid 2?

Does anyone have any idea when it will be available because PS suite is supposed to only be available on 2.3 and I want it. And how come google doesn't just release these updates on all phones at once instead of individually?

Best guess would probably place the update in late Feb through Mar. Google releases the source code for the update but because all the manufacturers place their own skin on top of android, they have to take that source and manipulate it to fit their needs. This is why it takes so long for some manufacturers phones longer than others to get updated.

Not to mention that once the manufacturers skin the AOSP code with their blur-like features, you then have to wait for your cell carrier to push the updates.
