2.3 update??

I turned my phone on today and I had an update available for 2.3. I was looking around and from what I read, its only for root users.

1. Does anyone have any information on this on what the update is for?
2. Will this remove my root? (Rooted with Z4root).

EDIT: Update worked fine. Did not remove root, no problems so far.

Its not really 2.3. Its system version 2.3, but Android 2.2.1.

Mine was available as well today, but disappointed it was only a minor update.

Yeah if you didn't use the tbh leak yo go from 2.3.15 to 2.3.32 then you are getting the system update ota to 2.3.34. Gingerbread ( android 2.3) isn't out yet.
