Air pockets beneath plastic cover on the back of the open screen

those of you that have removed your sticker, how bad is the back of the slider getting scratched up?

The back of my slider doesn't have any scratches but then again I've opened it about 10 times since I got the phone

My VZW dealer pealed it off along with the other sticky covers when he was preparing my new droid for use. It is meant to be removed.

The VZW guy took mine off too. He told me that if you leave it on, it tends to rip the keyboard off, so I'd remove it. I fidget with my phone and slide the keyboard constantly and haven't noticed any scratches yet.
