Good to know. Maybe I'll look into it again at some point. Honestly, not a big deal, the (GSM?) mobile data cutting out issue is a priority since I rely on my email and google voice text messages throughout the day for work. I have a couple ideas for that, including maybe using tasker to do periodic internet tests and whenever it fails have it turn off and back on the mobile data. A little ghetto, but whatever. I would think an app that does this would already exist, but its one of those terms you can't easily search for in google.
Of course, that would only solve the problem of the mobile data cutting out, i have no idea on how to get around using wifi and mobile data both or getting it to switch over properly.
Not a solution but maybe a workaround, I don't use a mac (well, other then the mac mini I have that runs boxee, but not as a real pc). A workaround though would be to put the files you need on a microSD and put that into your phone. The only caveat where you might need to connect the pc is if you need to SBF back to stock, and its possible that the mac might still recognize that.
Wolf, I really appreciate the suggestion. But aside from the fact that I don't have an external microSD card reader, it seems like a tremendous hassle to remove the card from the phone each time I want to update my music library or efficiently add/remove files.

Then again, I can't connect to my Pro with my 64-bit Windows system, either, so that may not help anything. 32-bit works fine, though, for whatever reason.
I know I've asked this a few times and haven't yet gotten a response... BUT, I would like to try these new builds as they are released.
I can't get my Mac to "see"/discover my Droid Pro when I plug it in via USB. Obviously it used to recognize the phone before, seeing as I was able to root and ROM.
I've tried all the settings - charge only/memory card access/portal & tools - to no avail. I've restarted both phone and computer multiple times... still no luck.
Read the posts above yours where we just discussed that. adjust your brightness and see if it comes on. Albeit, that's only a temporary solution for me, at least you can see if you can get it working at all.
