[ROM] [6/6/2012] CM7 for the Droid Pro based on GB

Wow. Exactly teh same as my Incredible running CM6...like I said, sometimes I go full retard.

So reboot in to recovery, run gapps. Reboot, or is there a way to make a backup, or have I gone WAY past that point? :p

Its doing great so far jackpot and I got it overclocked to 1.2 and running perfect, after the 4 initial bootup battery pulls ,now I can gauge the battery used, thanks again

Yes flash gapps then reboot and yes way past that, you no longer have any way to get back to stock without an SBF but that's a discussion for another day

BAD ASS X

I'll cross the SBF bridge if/when I come to it. If all goes well, it'll never be needed.

I should get all the contacts etc back when I re-synch with google, right?

OK, I'm at the Set up your Google Account page...but when I touch "Sign In" it says to slide keyboard open to continue. Clearly, this is a Droid Pro, so the keyboard is already open. WTF?

Lol yeah I forgot, its been a while since I flashed on a pro, just skip it and then when on home screen try to go to market and it will prompt you to sign in again, then you will be good

clueless77, I move to change your username to Priceless77, as your help has truly been priceless. The phone is up and running well now. Thanks MILLIONS for your help.

BTW, Jackpot, the CM7 ROM is GORGEOUS. I have my Incredible running CM6, and I'm jealous of the wife's new stuff. Very pretty job man. Kudos.

no while in recovery follow the steps

1. choose backup and restore
2. choose backup, then let it backup stock rooted ROM incase you need it again
3. select (wipe data factory reset) and run
4. select (wipe cache) and run
5. select advanced and then select (wipe dalvik) and run
7. select install zip from sd
8. select choose zip
9. scroll down to the CM7 zip and select and flash
10. select choose again and install gapps the same way
11, select reboot system

ALL THIS IS DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK

btw you should never have to use stock recovery

Could we put this in the OP of this thread? detailed step-by-step instructions like this are exactly what I was asking for earlier. Thank you, clueless! I'm about to do this.
