4th keyboard option?

on a site i saw this, how do i get to this

"The fourth is an on-screen vertical keyboard similar to the small BlackBerry unit in which each key handles more than one letter. I am not a fan of this style of keyboard and I have not used it much."

i believe a program called "better keyboard" offers that as an option.

If you want it for all apps, then as other have mentioned, Better Keyboard is an option (though it has gotten mixed reviews from what I have seen). If you only want it for texting, then you can check out Handcent. They offer a keyboard replacement with multiple options (including T9)... oh, and it is free.
