That can't really give an exact and all-encompassing release date, because they don't push it to EVERYONE at the same time. Imagine the crap they'd get for telling us it's the 22nd, then thousands to millions of people don't get it until the 23rd or 24th...

I can say that the 2.1 OS on my nexus one is just awesome. The browser is like lightening. Can't hardly wait but I don't think its coming to us yet. Google/HTC has not even released a update for our nexus ones yet for the little bugs in this OS.

Funny, 25 pages so far, in less than day. Think everyone wants this update? It may not occur for another few days, Fridays are bad days to push updates, IT peeps end up working the weekend. I just hope that when it does come it's 2.1 or the thread count will really go through the roof. Well it probably will anyway.

I liked the one post... my god, it's full of stars. Heh heh, pretty much what we're all expecting, especially from a robot. I should name my droid HAL.

I find that mostly black wallpaper with splotches of color work best.

I plan on using the live wallpaper that is considered the nexus wallpaper - where the colors move around. I think it looks great.

For some reason mine is on occasion off centered. I do like the fact I have the transparent one. I also love the news and refreshing like you.

In portrait mode, the news/weather widget is always centered. In the landscape mode, it doesn't stretch across the whole screen, but I didn't expect it would. As for the Celsius issue, its not an issue to me because when it's in the dock, I'm sleeping, trying to sleep, or just waking up. That's a non issue to me and was noted almost as soon as the .apk came out. What I love about the News/Weather app is the fact you can have it get headlines like for me "Android", "Pittsburgh" (to catch up on what's going on where I just moved from, "Pittsburgh Steelers", "Nascar" "NHL Hockey". And, I like that the stories get updated very frequently.

The transparent one rocks, that's what I also use. However, I had to change my wallpaper because I couldn't read it and couldn't change the white letters. That was the only drawback for me.

Ok, so im eagerly waiting to see what happens but i want to state a fact that i have not seen anywhere on the web.. This OTA update that was pushed "monday"??? I recieved a 61.4MB update Friday the 15th.. around 8. anyone hear about it happening that early?
