They might be doing early batches, but tomorrow is not the official date! My older brothers whom work in Verizon, and I might not be credible, since I just registered. They have both said it will be coming the 23rd, not tomorrow! So, please don't be disappointed!

im a colts fan here, who thinks it funny that the colts could have beaten the jets a few weeks ago but didnt due to the starters being taken out,so now the colts have to beat the jets in order to go to super bowl. thats funny.
My eldest brother works in the phone lines/retail, and my older one just works selling them. Wow, I leave work at 5:30, and now there is a 22 page thread about this? OK I will play. I predict Favre will retire again this year. Again. Again.
I just wanna say, I didn't get into forums when I had the G1, so when I randomly got the update one night while drinking heavily, and could finally take video and use the virtual keyboard, bad things happened.
Now, the Droid has forced me into all sorts of forums, and I'm literally sitting here waiting for an update.
Wouldn't have it any other way.
I just hope the update comes through by the 24th for my birthday...

I can't wait for 2.1. I would LOVE if it addresses the countless bugs i experience with my Droid. First and foremost, i hope the homescreen isn't as laggy. Most people probably don't notice this lag, but coming from an iPod touch it is very profound to me. Next, i HOPE and DREAM for the browser to be fixed, if not with this update, then with the next one. While scrolling through sites, it gets a little tedious watching all the skips. It needs to be as smooth as the iPhone, and no, i am not an apple fanboy. Last, but not least, the folder bug should be properly addressed. Every time my Pandora or DroidLive applications force close, the folder cannot be opened, until a reboot of the phone.
I, for one, do not really care about the live wallpapers. Yes, they are cool. Yes, they look great, but i imagine they are battery HOGS and will lag the phone. I have more important things to use my ram for.
Out with the old, in with the new!

After reading some about the 2.1 prelude patch, i highly doubt that 2.1 will be rolled out tomorrow. Let's hope i am wrong though.
Oh Yeah, and i am taking my SAT's on Saturday, wish me luck!:icon_ banana:
