If I remember correctly, wasn't there an official document on some website released with all the 2.0.1 update information listed prior to the actual OTA of the first update? If that's the case, would there, or shouldn't there be a similar document posted somewhere with all the official 2.1 info prior to OTA?

Is it starting?????????? While reading this thread I noticed my Droid randomly rebooted itself, after it powered back up I eagerly looked to see.....and nope, no dice.
I have a VZW tech rep friend who sent me a PM that there is nothing in InfoManager about the update happening on any certain date, however, I was led to believe that it could be sooner than later also by my friend.
And to the person who spoke to Tech Support at VZW.....from my experiences as a rep - no, usually these types of things don't show up before they actually start releasing. And, not every VZW Tech gives a crap about a certain phone....some have Androids, some have Blackberries, some even have LG Dare's or maybe a Boulder. When the Storm came out November 2008, I was about the only VZW Rep who had a Storm because I purchased mine on a consumer account and the employees weren't able to get theirs until the end of December 2008. I loved taking Storm calls and everyone else in my team were the most educated Storm users, even more than Tech Support at the time.
If anyone has ever owned a Blackberry and hung out at CB - you are already used to this sort of camping out waiting for the next beta leak. To the others -welcome to the waiting game.

Here is my theory I have the lates software esd56 or whatever. I think all the people who got 2.0.1 early are the ones who are receiving this "patch". If the firmware version ending in 56 is the most up to date version I have it and haven't received the "patch". I could be totally wrong and I doubt anyone cares just a thought as to how we could all get 2.1 tomorrow. Maybe its wishful thinking.

well,im on the shole.info.rom and i know not to update but at the same time i know i should receive the notification of an update. if i wanted to apply the update,id go into the recovery and click on allow update.zip or whatever. im just ready to get the update and not apply it but grab it off my phone and give it to the devs to modify it or whatever.
