I called Verizon today and they said it will be releasing 2.1 tomorrow as many people here believe.

They have also said it will be pushed to the phone directly with a notification.

I hope this is the same news that we all are happy for

I've got a contact that can get Snuggies (knockoffs) made with whatever logo we want...I wonder what kind of volume I'd need to get for having them made with the Android logo to make it reasonably priced...

Tomorrow when 2.1 or any update doesn't show up here are a few possible responses for Miami....

1. I knew it wasn't coming but I couldn't risk sharing that info.
2. My sources didn't get back to me, but I am expecting a response soon.
3. I have information and I will share it soon.

(1) I am not 100% sure either way, but I have several people tell me yes. I do believe its VERY possible. I am hopeful

(2) They have said a little but not enough. It's still very early on the west coast though. that's where they are

(3) If I had it. it would be on the front page. That is the plan for DF.

I tried to call Verizon. Those donkeys didn't have any new information... really. My rep said, "I have no confimation, I mean, I've had some training, but I can't confirm anything for you".

Wishy-washy as always. But still..... He didn't tell me what type of training, so who knows. I think he was laughing at me. >.<

I'm the party pooper...sure it will be nice to upgrade but its very minor. You get live wallpapers, which I won't take advantage of, and a re-designed gallery/app menu.

That's old news I just got the new 2pac album collaborating with Michael Jackson.. it came with 2.1 download..

i don't believe 2pac is dead.. i'm just waiting for a "previously unreleased" music video of his to "surface" with something more modern, like wheels bigger than 20"... the proof is in the hooding.
