Have rooted phone before with z4 root and now that I have Sbf back to stock it does not work. Any suggestions would be helpful.

We can help you better if you tell us what version of Stock. For instance I don't believe Z4 can root stock Gingerbread.

Have you cleared data for z4root? Sometimes, it will get stuck and I've found that clearing data and trying again will typically work.

The last time I used z4 it was on my Droid X and it took many tries before it worked. After letting it run multiple times, rebooting battery pulling, and restarting it finally worked. Took just shy of an hour and the last time I hit it to run it rooted the phone in under a minute. I was honestly just about to give up and break out adb to do it.

It basically just hangs. I let it go for at least 10mins. I did battery pull, reinstall and I even did a factory reset. Should I use adb to reflash?

I used a boot cd to sbf. Maybe I try that again. Adb and me don't mix well.

You can always try another method. I SBF a couple times a week, and have had a problem with z4root twice, but it eventually worked after powering my phone off.
