Yahoo mail icon disappeared

Help my yahoo mail icon not showing in status bar. All I get is a void where it should be.

I have a rooted Droid and I do not use Yahoo so my experience may be different.

Are you referring to the notification that indicates you received new mail or is this something different?

If it is the notification of new mail open the app, tap menu, tap settings, tap notifications.

It is new mail icon for non gmail. I have notifications on and a space shows up on my bar with no visible icon just started happening was fine before

It was just the pre- installed yahoo mail on x and I haven't changed any settings

No it just randomly happened I have been running 2.2 for a couple months andthis started. Last week. And I did not root it. Did not add. Any app lately

I saw on another forum that only a reset will fix it and I am not willing yet to try that

I'm seeing the same problem on my Droid 2. It started when I updated to "Version.2.3.20.A955.Verizon.en.US" a week or so ago.

i am having the same problem with my phone. tried to reset didnt work even got a new phone thinking there was something wrong with mine and i still dont hav the icon on my status bar just the blank spot
