Wireless tether....

I am trying to use wireless tether on my rooted droid 2 global with fission 2.4.3. I turn it on and my laptop connects to the device and will maybe open a page or two but then loses service on my phone until I turn wireless tether off and I will regain 3g/service again. Does anyone else have this problem?

Constant 3G? If so, try a different channel and see if it helps.

Yea it's 3g unless the 3g just goes away but I still keep bars. Left of the bars just has nothing unless I turn tether off and 3g returns
