I really like the GB update for the DG2, rooted with Petes Tools, but am finding that Wireles Tether 1.7 is not tethering, or it is, but it is going to http:www.dunsp.verizon.com, where they want to charge for wireless hotspot access. Anybody else notice this problem? Everything is stock, nothing frozen in Titanium Backup, just root, superuser, and wireless tether 1.7 on my phone. Any thoughts appreciated, thanks.

Verizon has charged for tethered hotspot services for some time, some people have chosen to "hack" their phones to avoid paying the fees (basically theft of services). Verizon is now taking steps to lock their system down to insure that people pay for the services they provide.

And please......my comment isn't meant to begin a discussion of the "morality" of companies charging fees for services, or whether or not companies are "thieves" for providing services for a fee.......
