Is there a way to auto-delete the windows history list? Everytime I am searching the web on my Droid I keep exceeding the number of open windows. I have to open the history list and x-out all the open windows. Then I loose where I was searching.

I tried Dolphin but could not click on links in web sites. Also did not like the way it handled my Outlook mail from my company's server. It forced it into mobile view only, even though I was in desktop mode.

I've sometimes seen that it won't respond to clicks but not recently. They may've fixed it with an update. As far as the mobile site...so you changed the user agent to Desktop, huh? It always seems to work for me just great. If you had visited the site before changing the user agent, it may have set a cookie that tells the server that you want the mobile site. Google does this on some of it's sites. Clearing cookies might fix it.

Another browser that's pretty good is xscope.

I only have workarounds but no real answer to your original question.
