What would cause Adaptive Brightness turn on by itself?

Noticed the Adaptive Brightness is on when I have turned it off. Is there a reason that it keeps turning itself on?

Good morning @TxDoc Are you saying that the actual ON /OFF slider is automatically moving back to On when you have manually turned it Off? If so, I haven't personally experienced that & not sure what would cause that to happen.
