i just SBF my droid X to .340 then upgraded to .602 using TBH 2 part zip update

Now im trying to install custom ROMS but i notice only some work on the .602 kernel.
For example even though liberty ROM says its gingerbread I still can't use it because its based of a Froyo kernel .340 (which makes no sense to me).

So which ROMs actually works on gingerbread .602 kernel?

Some 596 roms work. There's nothing to fear, so try what you like. If it doesn't work, sbf and try again
For example im on 605, running darkslidex with blue river final, and they are for 596

ApeX, Shuji, CM4DX GB and MIUI are all great ROMs that I know can be flashed on the .602 kernel. I've used them all and my personal favorite is MIUI, but try them all out and see which is your favorite!

This gets discussed quite a bit on droid x forums but it turns out you can flash most, if not all, .596 and obviously the .602 ones while on .602. They all actually work on the .605 OTA as well. This is the case because they all run on the same or similar kernel so they should work.

And I am not sure what you mean about Liberty GB being a froyo .340 ROM. It is a .596 ROM and if you would like to run it I know many people flash it on .602. You will retain the .13 radio and the only thing that will happen is your system version will read .596 which is no big deal.

I would add Vortex. You can be on .602 or .605. It is IMHO the best one out there.

I've been hearing good things about Vortex lately, now that we can dual boot ROMs I think I'm gonna have to give it a try

I tried vortex, i didnt see anything special about it.
The only thing vortex has over say a rom like CM4DX GB for example is HDMI, blur camera, and battery life.
