Is there any risk in security using other than stock, or does that not even matter?

Adfree will only work with stock, so that's my choice.

Opera

Sent from my DROID2 GLOBAL using DroidForums

I too use opera. Love it for reading news (I'm a big news junkee) and light web browsing because it is very fast. It doesn't use cookies so it has a little more privacy. I have use the stock browser to download or sign into yahoo mail.

It is also easier to clear up your browsing history and your Google searches never get saved.
