What does battery saver do

    I was reading the tech notes and it says it sleeps the cellular connection until you pick your phone up. Does that mean you wouldn't get a phone call or any updates to internet apps at all or does it poll at some lesser frequency.

    Anybody have clarification as I would want to miss a call or a text in battery saver mode

    When battery saver is on

    Your phone:

    Waits until you look at an app to refresh its content, like email or news.

    Stops use of Location services when your screen is off.

    Stops apps from doing things in the background, unless you turn off battery optimization.

    Stops listening for "Ok Google," and instead requires you to squeeze your phone or tap the Assistant icon.

    Turns on Dark theme.

    Yes, that is correct. It does not affect calls or texts.....as per Google
