Voicemail Notifications

This may seem like a simple question, but I have not been able to find how to set my notifications to show when I have a voicemail message. Can anyone help?

I am not sure because it has been so long since I have used the VZW voicemail service - might I suggest Google Voice - it records your Voicemails to audio - transcribes to text - and is accesible via the Android Application or from your Computer

There's nothing to set IIRC. The voicemail system sends and clears notifications on your phone.
