In the process of porting to Froyo, and using the multimedia Framework "StageFright", I have noticed that the performance of the video player under the previous release (Éclair) was BETTER than the video player’s performance under Froyo. What can be contributing to the lower performance of the video player in Froyo? What areas, do you recommend that I focus on to improve the performance of video player, under Froyo? (By video player’s performance I mean the percentage of the video frames, which are ON TIME and are not late for the purpose of display/rendering.)
