This App started showing up today in the "my aps" section of the Play Store. There are several reviews which say this app is flagging "gallery" as malware. Is anyone having difficulties with this app? Is Verizon listening to the customer complaints so they can remedy the problem instead of sweeping it under the carpet while they force more bloat ware down our throats. This is a new.app and reportedly can not be turned off or deactivated once installed.

It comes as bloatware on new phones but I have it disabled. I'll manage my own support and protection, thank you very much Verizon.

I haven't had any problems with this phone, yet. But on my last phone, the turbo, I had to disable the protection app. It warned me about all of my favorite apps being threats. "Go home Verizon, you're drunk".

Ha ha. The reason I haven't had any problems is because I never activated the app this time. Now it is disabled. It can be done.
