Wait will the update work if I'm rooted but have all the bloatware?

Yes it will work that's if gb hasnt been drastically changed from froyo. As long as you have stock root with all the bloatware you will get the update. Once you update you will lose root and will have to wait for the ota to be rooted.

To be honest when I know it is out for the D2 I am going to backup all my apps and data with Titanium, SBF to stock, install update, ROOT (I hope), restore apps and data.

Does anyone see a problem with my plan?

Why do all that when you can back up everything through titanium and flash a stock backup and update?

this thing you are talking about here....the exploit.

that probably doesn't apply to 595 unless there's something wrong with the leak, because there's rooted odexed/deodexed versions of it available. so i would doubt stock 595 cannot be rooted. but i'll wait this one out for 596 & see what happens ....

Can I flash .595 right over GBLib 0.5 to be ready for OTA and if so is that it? If Google trys to restore apps do I have to delete Bootstrap and other rooted apps? Can,t I choose not to sync or back up on Google server when I boot. 595? That way Google won't try to restore apps and I can do it myself with TiBU after the OTA installs?

I believe TiBu only works with root though...that is my main fear. If the official OTA isn't rooted or rootable in renders TiBu useless.

Ah yes, the little bumps in the road I forget about. I was more concerned about the jump from 0.5 to. 595 and I got my answer.
