As we know, the default e-mail application on Froyo won't delete messages from a POP3 server. I like the interface on the default application better than I do K9 and MailDroid. So I'm hoping someone (Verizon/Motorola/Google) will issue a fix and push it to my phone.

I'm new to the Droid world, so I'm wondering:
  • Can I expect a fix?
  • If so, any guess as to when?
  • Are fixes pushed automatically?
  • Will I know that a fix has been pushed?
  • Is there anything I can do to encourage a fix?
I'd appreciate your experience and suggestions.

Thank you in advance,
Andrew

Is there a way to stop update notifications for apps that require manual updates?
They all appear to be bloat that I did not install, do not use, and am getting annoyed with constant notifications to update.

Thanks

You can stop notifications all together but not for specific apps. If you go into the Play Store and go into your settings you can tell it not to notify you.
