Unrooting x2

I had originally rooted my phone using my PC, it wasnt wwith gingerbreak or Pete's tools. I will have to search the forums to remember how I did it. My question is, do I have to use the same method to unroot my phone that I used to root it Initially? Or can I root it like I did with my PC then unroot using Pete's tools? I dont need to unroot, but I was curious so that if i do need to, then I know what my options are.

Download Pete's rooting tool. You can root and unroot with that. It's easy, just make sure your phones in charge only for USB connection.
