Trying to text someone a Youtube link on my Droid

Hello, any help greatly appreciated.

I am going to Youtube.com and trying to "share" a video via SMS, but every time I try this, it puts the video link in the 'Phone number" section instead of going where your text would go to send a text message.

Any idea why this is happening?

No idea but I never go to the actual website, I usually share from the YouTube app and it doesn't do that.

But as a work around you can always select the text where it populated and paste it into the message body so you can put their phone number in.

Edit: I just tried it on my phone and it works just fine even from the actual website. But I use maxthon browser so perhaps it is a slight bug in the communication between your browser and the text app.

I was using my browser to go to youtube, instead using the youtube app. I downloaded the app and it works great to text someone a youtube video.
