Trash can

I can no longer drag icons to the trash can, it's not there. How does one do this now? Gingerbread installed and stock Droid launcher.

We need more info than that... what launcher? What was changed recently, etc.

If you're on gingerbread and trying to do this on the home screen look up and the trash is real small on top rather than on the bottom a it was in froyo

Thanks for the reply. There is nothing at the top of my home screen. I moved icons around just to make sure they were not covering it, but no go.

FOUND IT! It shows up in the notification bar. Thanks again for the replies.
