trash can icon

My Droid X recently had an update to it. I notice that the "trash can" icon at bottom of my home screen is missing and can't delete any icons. Maybe it was something I did but need to get it back. Any thoughts?

It might have moved to the top, that's how mine is on the bionic.

Rck is correct. You can also use a different launcher other than the stock one. ADW launcher is a great one. I believe it will also give you the option of were to place your trash can. If you long press on an icon on your home screen you'll get some nice options and one of them is trash can.
