Transfer and APK from one droid to another?

My question is, is it possible to pack an apk which was download in the market to move it from one droid to another?

Specifically there's a game called Alchemy which my friends all have which no longer exists on the market, or on the web (None which don't lead to broken download links anyway), and I was wondering if there was a way to pack it to a .apk from there phone and just move the file and install it on mine?
