I missed placed my gmail address...dont know my password...I am locked out of my droid...trip to England may be off if I cant find help unlocking it, to free my phone book...Can I get help? T

If 'you' don't know your GMail address and password, none of us here would neither...

If you didn't back-up your contacts via Verizon, then perhaps you still have most on your old phone?... or get a statement from VZW and manually copy down all your contatcs... then reset your phone, setup a new Gmail account, (Write it down somewhere...lol), and then manually reenter them once you log in as the new address...

That's the best I can think of unfortunately...

There may be away, but it will only work if you set up your gmail to forward your lost info to another email address. Go onto you computer and try to sign in and it should give you an option for forgotten password.

you gmail account is the same info to get into your cell device provided it was all the same google account
