It looks like HTC has finally crossed all their T's and dotted all their I's with a flagship release. The past few years camera software was not complete causing some less than great early reviews of the camera. Camera updates came later for those devices fixing issues, but damage had already been done. It looks like HTC has sent out review units with polished camera software for the U11.
HTC has received the highest DxOMark score, and have even outranked the Pixel and Galaxy S8. The U11 scores a 90 while the Galaxy S8 and S7 Edge received an 88. According to the testing agency the camera on the HTC U11 works well in most situations. The camera has very fast Auto focus and very low noise even in dark conditions.
