Hmm, apparently it doesn't stop it from downloading the update. However it definitely won't let the update install. I'm not yet sure which application is responsible for updates.

My phone already downloaded the update , woke up this morning and it said "an update has been downloaded , would you like to install? ,etc etc"

The message just wouldnt go away .

Rename /system/app/BlurUpdater_VZW.apk to BlurUpdater_VZW.apk.bak.
Rename /system/app/BlurUpdater_VZW.odex to BlurUpdater_VZW.odex.bak.

That will definitely do it.

If you postpone it, it will ask again in 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, then 12 hours... and then every bloody 12 hours. :(

Rename /system/app/BlurUpdater_VZW.apk to BlurUpdater_VZW.apk.bak.

Thanks, that should keep me going until there's an SBF out.
