Stock Camcorder not working

I tried to record a video of a crazy hail storm today but all I got was a black screen. I still have the red button to start/stop recording but nothing would happen. I can get to the menu to change scenes but that would just cause a FC.

I'm currently rooted but on the stock ROM. I was on Liberty v2.0 awhile ago but decided to go back thinking the OTA of GB was coming this weekend.

Anyone have any suggestions?
