Same Problem

Yea Im having the same problem that guy did my phone wont read the img file that will take my phone back to stock. I tried going to bootloader and it gave the same image that that guy just posted. And when I run the update.zip file to flash to 2.x radio the bootanimation is different but the radio is still the stock version not 2.x. Any ideas on what could be wrong? Trying to load Froyo 2.2 version 2.0

Nighky:.... I did find the problem, what was happening was that the .img was not actually in the root, although I swear it was. I finally used ASTRO file manager and moved it to the root of the SD card from there. it took me a bit to figure this out, but once i did, it was a breeze. I redid it 2 times to verify and that was def the issue.

PS: it took me a while to figure out how to move a file in astro, lol

EDIT: be sure to remove it from the root of your SD card after your back to stock

Got It!

Ok I finally got it. I kind of feel stupid though. All I had to to is format my SD card to FAT32. >.< Once I did that everything worked perfectly
