As I look at my SD card on the computer, I have many different files and folders. So many, I can't transfer files to the root. Can I clean those up without messing up my phone? I don't understand many of the items on the card. Is there a way to organize this? Thanks.:icon_eek:

Remove all the stuff you want from the sdcard, then format it from the phones settings menu. Should get you a nice clean base

Won't I then lose all the stuff on my phone? Are you saying that the SD card is just a vehicle to get things on the phone, but does not hold files that are important to it's operation, i.e. roms, backups, other downloads? Thanks for responding and passing on your knowledge. I really appreciate it.:greendroid:

Most apps are saved on your phones internal storage. That said, not all apps are, you can reinstall them though.
