sd card always mounts to computer

My sd card will mount to my pc everytime i plug in my usb cable and connect the two regardless of what mode (charge only) i have selected. Help please!

Not the answer im looking for, i need files on my sd card to run to capture screenshots of my phone. need to fix this

Do you have USB debugging mode enabled? Settings > applications > development.

Also I have an app that'll do that called dual mount SD if I forget to disable it.

yea i did, i turned it off just now and still the same result. pc mounts card

I've seen where PC doesn't want to "let go" of the drive. Maybe its still there when you disconnect? Try logging off and back on to see if it persists.

Might as well restart your phone too. It could be a bug with moto connect and drivers. I've noticed same issue on my work PC only but never cared.

Any luck? Its hard to troubleshoot without looking at it. I'll look at my work machine tomorrow.

This happened to me also.

Member harrellj had the answer:

"Do you have Winamp installed on the phone? Or double-twist? Both of them by default set the card to auto-mount, but luckily thats a setting that can be disabled. Prior to this starting, the apps that you either installed/updated, double-check their settings to see if they snuck it in on you."

Winamp was my problem.
