screen splotches

noticed this while playing a game. on a black screen that was lit I found several odd splotches of discoloration. it's almost like a dead screen area but it acts fine. it isn't really visible otherwise but I'm concerned since the return date is nearly up. anyone have this issue? is it worth a return?

I heard somewhere that this is common in AMOLED displays (sorry, no link/reference). I wouldn't assume it's a defect. Also, I would think that if you got another RAZR, you stand a pretty good chance of seeing the same thing.
