Says my messages aren't sending, but they are?

Okay so this is getting annoying. Everytime I go into my text inbox or send a message it notifies me at the top that my message didn't send and i have to clear the icon out everytime. Is there any way i can disable the notifications or just fix it?

mine does that too! its SO annoying!
i guess i'll eventually take it into verizon and switch it out.
