Rooting and new PRL downloads

I rooted today (and it's freaking awesome by the way) and was wondering if this affects calling *228 and obtaining a new PRL? I know it affects getting a new OTA update such as when 2.1 gets pushed out, but does it affect PRLs also? Thanks.

Nah. Only Pete's recommended you do *228 option 2 after. Don't worry about it.

It does not hurt to to call *228.
