Root Droid X

Hello! I am new to site but not new to the droid. I have a Droid X now and I love it but I want it to perform better. I would like to root it. I would like to experience faster browsing. Also I'm just now experimenting with file managers. I downloaded OI. So if someone can school me how to root, which ROMs to use, and the best file manager to use, I would be eternally grateful.

Welcome! Check out the entire X section in the Forum especially the hacking section. You will fine quite a bit of very helpful information.

file manager: best ur gonna get once u root is root explorer.

ROMs: dont use them but theres a lot on the DX section so just check them all out
