Rom Manager

    I rooted and installed RM. I can't get my DX to backup current rom or download new ones. Any suggestions?

    I think you might need to flash ur phone first. It should be the very top button.

    Make sure you have the Droid X Bootstrap App from Market.

    Wait, if you root and then flash clockwork recovery do you still need the bootstrap?

    Yes, you still need bootstrap. You need to run it once, then you can enter cw via the bootstrap app or through rom manager.

    The bootstrap is a special file for the Droid X. None of the others need it. Read Koush's site for details on it:
