I think you might need to flash ur phone first. It should be the very top button.

Yes, you still need bootstrap. You need to run it once, then you can enter cw via the bootstrap app or through rom manager.

The bootstrap is a special file for the Droid X. None of the others need it. Read Koush's site for details on it:
