Reboots when plugged into USB

Almost every time I plug in my X to my computer via USB it does a soft reboot. I also do not get the option to select mass storage or pc mode etc.. anymore. I have my phone rooted and I also installed the NEX theme. Would these 2 additions to my phone be causing this error?
