Razr and USB Tether it finally worked!!

So my internet was out this morning and I decided to try the USB tether from my RAZR to my personal laptop then to my work laptop.

I couldn't get it to work although the razr did show it was tethering. My laptop would just not use the link. Then I disconnected the Ethernet cable to my router and BINGO it worked. Doing this forced my laptop to use the "other" available connection. I guess the OS assumed because it was getting signaling over the Ethernet that it was up when the utility was actually down.

I imagine this might happen if you are wireless connected to your router as well.

I have yet to get the Bluetooth to work. I may try Bluetooth to my laptop (as I did above) and to my Transformer Prime TF201.

It was trying to take the internet signal from it cause it was plugged in. My laptop turns my wireless signal off of its hardwired
