razor max rooting

Can anyone tell me the benefits of rooting my max? Don't have many app lots of pics,music and books.

Not sure. Motorola locks all their devices, you can use foxfi for wireless tether and ICS lets you take screen shots. I haven't seen much support from devs.

I just whipped out my OG Droid and am just playing around with its rooted goodness. How I miss this phone.

Here are some root apps I found pretty useful. The MAXX is a great phone unrooted, but the wifi tether is always a plus since the MAXX is 4g. It's a powerful phone so do some more research for the benefits. Rooting is usually worth it
